DR. STEVE’S RETIREMENT
Dear Four Paws Wellness Center clientele:
We are excited to announce that, after 37 years of veterinary practice, I am ready to retire! It has been an honor and a privilege to serve you, and care for your pets over these many years, as well as making some life-long friends along the way.
We at Four Paws have appreciated all of your support and for helping to make my veterinary vision come true. My goals from the beginning have been to practice with integrity, honesty, and empathy/ sympathy for my clients/ patients, while providing a unique, integrative medicine care model.
Another goal, when the time came to retire, has been to find a like-minded, compassionate veterinary buyer(s) for Four Paws. I am very pleased, and feel lucky, to have found caregivers who I think are wonderful people, and a very good fit to transition Four Paws to the' next level'.
I would like you to join us in welcoming the new owners of FPWC, Dr. Stephanie Sur, and her colleague/veterinary nurse and business partner, Jennifer Hill. Dr. Sur has an extensive background in holistic veterinary medicine and has been practicing locally here in Bend for several years, alongside Jennifer ( Jen), who also has special training in Eastern Medicine. They both have a similar practice philosophy as myself, and will enhance the integrative care model at Four Paws that I have promoted.
Some really great news for all of you who have come to adore and appreciate my' right hand', Tammy, is that she will continue in the same role as she has with me. I will miss her deeply, as I will miss seeing many of you and your sweet dogs and cats. I will never forget you and my deepest thanks go out to you.
The transition time is near, as Dr. Sur, Jen, and Tammy will begin their new journey on 7-16-24. I invite you to welcome them and hopefully continue your pet care at FPWC.
Please also note that I’ll remain in the office one day a week, typically on Mondays, for about the next six months to ensure a smooth transition.
Sincerely,
' Dr Steve'
